Answer – This question appears simple on the surface, but in reality, it does not have one fixed answer. The reason is very clear: every trader is different. One trader learns fast but lacks discipline. Another trader is disciplined but takes more time to understand the market. One trader may already have some experience in charts, price action, or risk management, while another may be entering the world of trading for the very first time. Therefore, it would be incorrect to say that every trader needs exactly the same number of days in order to become capable of generating a large financial result.
Trading is not like memorizing a few definitions and then claiming mastery. It is a practical field. It tests not only a person’s knowledge, but also their patience, emotional control, decision-making ability, and consistency under pressure. Because of this, training in trading must not be measured only by the number of days spent learning. It must also be measured by how deeply the trader absorbs the method and how correctly he can apply it in real market conditions.
Still, although each trader is unique, human nature does follow certain patterns. It is often observed that when a person performs a specific task continuously for around 40 days, that task begins to enter his system more naturally. Repetition builds familiarity. Familiarity builds confidence. Confidence, when supported by discipline, begins to develop into skill. This principle applies not only in trading, but in almost every serious field of practice. When a person studies, observes, and practices one method continuously for a sufficient period, the confusion starts reducing and the mind begins to operate with greater clarity.
That is why I believe that a trader should ideally undergo two months of specialized training. This period is long enough to move beyond initial excitement and short enough to remain intense and focused. In those two months, the trader should not merely collect information. He should learn how to read the market, how to identify opportunity, how to manage risk, how to control losses, how to avoid emotional mistakes, and how to repeat the same process with discipline every day.
But let us also be honest here: two months of training does not guarantee one crore rupees. Training only prepares the trader. The actual result depends on how sincerely that training is followed after the learning period ends. A trader may complete the best training program in the world, but if he lacks discipline in live markets, then the knowledge will remain useless.
So, in my view, two months of specialized training is a strong and practical starting point. It gives the trader enough time to build a foundation. But after that, real growth depends on practice, control, and execution. The market rewards not the person who learns quickly, but the person who applies correctly.
That is the real difference.

उत्तर – यह सवाल ऊपर से तो आसान लगता है, लेकिन असल में इसका कोई एक तय जवाब नहीं है। इसकी वजह बहुत साफ़ है: हर ट्रेडर अलग होता है। एक ट्रेडर जल्दी सीख लेता है, लेकिन उसमें अनुशासन की कमी होती है। दूसरा ट्रेडर अनुशासित होता है, लेकिन उसे बाज़ार को समझने में ज़्यादा समय लगता है। हो सकता है कि किसी ट्रेडर को चार्ट, प्राइस एक्शन या रिस्क मैनेजमेंट का पहले से कुछ अनुभव हो, जबकि कोई दूसरा ट्रेडर ट्रेडिंग की दुनिया में पहली बार कदम रख रहा हो। इसलिए, यह कहना गलत होगा कि हर ट्रेडर को बड़ा फ़ायदा कमाने लायक बनने के लिए बिल्कुल उतने ही दिनों की ज़रूरत होती है।
ट्रेडिंग कुछ परिभाषाएँ रटकर महारत का दावा करने जैसा नहीं है। यह एक प्रैक्टिकल क्षेत्र है। यह न सिर्फ़ किसी व्यक्ति के ज्ञान की, बल्कि उसके सब्र, भावनाओं पर काबू, फ़ैसले लेने की क्षमता और दबाव में भी लगातार अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने की क्षमता की भी परीक्षा लेता है। इसी वजह से, ट्रेडिंग की ट्रेनिंग को सिर्फ़ सीखने में बिताए गए दिनों की संख्या से नहीं मापा जाना चाहिए। इसे इस बात से भी मापा जाना चाहिए कि ट्रेडर उस तरीके को कितनी गहराई से समझता है और असल बाज़ार की स्थितियों में उसे कितनी सही तरह से लागू कर पाता है।
फिर भी, भले ही हर ट्रेडर अनोखा होता है, लेकिन इंसानी स्वभाव कुछ खास पैटर्न का पालन करता है। अक्सर यह देखा गया है कि जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी खास काम को लगातार लगभग 40 दिनों तक करता है, तो वह काम उसके स्वभाव में ज़्यादा स्वाभाविक रूप से शामिल होने लगता है। बार-बार दोहराने से जान-पहचान बढ़ती है। जान-पहचान से आत्मविश्वास बढ़ता है। जब आत्मविश्वास को अनुशासन का साथ मिलता है, तो वह एक हुनर में बदलने लगता है। यह सिद्धांत सिर्फ़ ट्रेडिंग में ही नहीं, बल्कि अभ्यास के लगभग हर गंभीर क्षेत्र में लागू होता है। जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी एक तरीके का लगातार काफ़ी समय तक अध्ययन, अवलोकन और अभ्यास करता है, तो उलझन कम होने लगती है और दिमाग ज़्यादा स्पष्टता के साथ काम करने लगता है।
इसीलिए मेरा मानना है कि एक ट्रेडर को आदर्श रूप से दो महीने की खास ट्रेनिंग लेनी चाहिए। यह समय शुरुआती जोश से आगे बढ़ने के लिए काफ़ी लंबा है, और साथ ही इतना छोटा भी है कि जोश और ध्यान बना रहे। इन दो महीनों में, ट्रेडर को सिर्फ़ जानकारी इकट्ठा नहीं करनी चाहिए। उसे यह सीखना चाहिए कि बाज़ार को कैसे पढ़ा जाए, मौकों की पहचान कैसे की जाए, रिस्क को कैसे मैनेज किया जाए, नुकसान को कैसे नियंत्रित किया जाए, भावनाओं से जुड़ी गलतियों से कैसे बचा जाए, और हर दिन अनुशासन के साथ उसी प्रक्रिया को कैसे दोहराया जाए।
लेकिन यहाँ हमें ईमानदार भी रहना चाहिए: दो महीने की ट्रेनिंग एक करोड़ रुपये कमाने की गारंटी नहीं देती। ट्रेनिंग सिर्फ़ ट्रेडर को तैयार करती है। असली नतीजा इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि सीखने का दौर खत्म होने के बाद उस ट्रेनिंग का कितनी ईमानदारी से पालन किया जाता है। कोई ट्रेडर दुनिया का सबसे अच्छा ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम पूरा कर सकता है, लेकिन अगर लाइव मार्केट में उसमें अनुशासन की कमी है, तो वह ज्ञान बेकार ही रहेगा।
इसलिए, मेरी नज़र में, दो महीने की खास ट्रेनिंग एक मज़बूत और व्यावहारिक शुरुआती कदम है। यह ट्रेडर को अपनी नींव बनाने के लिए काफ़ी समय देती है। लेकिन उसके बाद, असली तरक्की अभ्यास, नियंत्रण और अमल पर निर्भर करती है। बाज़ार उस व्यक्ति को इनाम नहीं देता जो जल्दी सीखता है, बल्कि उस व्यक्ति को देता है जो सही तरीके से अमल करता है।
यही असली फ़र्क है।
