Answer – Trading cannot exist without risk. In fact, the very idea of trading without risk is meaningless. The moment a trader enters the market, risk enters with him. There is no method, no system, and no strategy in the world that can remove risk completely. Therefore, if someone wishes to earn one crore rupees in a year through trading, he must first accept this truth with complete honesty: risk is a permanent part of the game.
 

However, the real question is not whether risk exists or not. The real question is: can that risk be controlled? And this is exactly where proper training becomes important. When a trader undergoes a two-month specialized training program, the very first thing he must learn is not how to make money, but how to manage risk. This is because profit is never built on excitement; it is built on protection. A trader who does not know how to control losses will never be able to reach any major financial goal, no matter how ambitious that goal may be.
 

That is why, in my view, the greatest risk is not merely financial loss. The greatest risk is losing discipline. The greatest risk is breaking one’s own rules. The greatest risk is abandoning the method after a few losing trades, doubting the training at the wrong time, or allowing emotions to overpower structure. Once that happens, even a strong system becomes weak in the hands of the trader.
 

So yes, risk certainly exists. But for a properly trained trader, the bigger danger is not the market itself. The bigger danger is his own lack of control. If he remains disciplined, follows his rules, respects position sizing, and places full trust in his training, then risk becomes manageable.
 

And only when risk becomes manageable does a big target begin to look achievable.

जवाब – ट्रेडिंग बिना जोखिम के नहीं हो सकती। असल में, बिना जोखिम के ट्रेडिंग का विचार ही बेमानी है। जिस पल कोई ट्रेडर बाज़ार में कदम रखता है, जोखिम भी उसके साथ ही आ जाता है। दुनिया में ऐसा कोई तरीका, कोई सिस्टम या कोई रणनीति नहीं है जो जोखिम को पूरी तरह से खत्म कर सके। इसलिए, अगर कोई ट्रेडिंग के ज़रिए एक साल में एक करोड़ रुपये कमाना चाहता है, तो उसे सबसे पहले इस सच्चाई को पूरी ईमानदारी से स्वीकार करना होगा: जोखिम इस खेल का एक स्थायी हिस्सा है।
 

लेकिन, असली सवाल यह नहीं है कि जोखिम है या नहीं। असली सवाल यह है: क्या उस जोखिम को नियंत्रित किया जा सकता है? और ठीक यहीं पर सही ट्रेनिंग का महत्व बढ़ जाता है। जब कोई ट्रेडर दो महीने का विशेष ट्रेनिंग प्रोग्राम करता है, तो उसे सबसे पहली चीज़ यह सीखनी चाहिए कि पैसा कैसे कमाना है, बल्कि यह कि जोखिम को कैसे संभालना है। ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि मुनाफ़ा कभी भी जोश पर आधारित नहीं होता; यह सुरक्षा पर आधारित होता है। जो ट्रेडर नुकसान को नियंत्रित करना नहीं जानता, वह कभी भी किसी बड़े वित्तीय लक्ष्य तक नहीं पहुँच पाएगा, चाहे वह लक्ष्य कितना भी बड़ा क्यों न हो।
 

यही कारण है कि, मेरी नज़र में, सबसे बड़ा जोखिम सिर्फ़ वित्तीय नुकसान नहीं है। सबसे बड़ा जोखिम अनुशासन खो देना है। सबसे बड़ा जोखिम अपने ही बनाए नियमों को तोड़ना है। सबसे बड़ा जोखिम कुछ नुकसान वाले ट्रेड के बाद अपनी कार्यप्रणाली को छोड़ देना, गलत समय पर अपनी ट्रेनिंग पर शक करना, या अपनी भावनाओं को अपनी कार्यप्रणाली पर हावी होने देना है। एक बार ऐसा हो जाने पर, एक मज़बूत सिस्टम भी ट्रेडर के हाथों में कमज़ोर पड़ जाता है।
 

तो हाँ, जोखिम निश्चित रूप से मौजूद है। लेकिन एक सही ढंग से प्रशिक्षित ट्रेडर के लिए, सबसे बड़ा खतरा खुद बाज़ार नहीं है। सबसे बड़ा खतरा उसका अपना आत्म-नियंत्रण खो देना है। अगर वह अनुशासित रहता है, अपने नियमों का पालन करता है, अपनी 'पोजीशन साइज़िंग' (position sizing) का सम्मान करता है, और अपनी ट्रेनिंग पर पूरा भरोसा रखता है, तो जोखिम को संभाला जा सकता है।
 

और जब जोखिम को संभाला जा सकता है, तभी कोई बड़ा लक्ष्य हासिल करने लायक लगने लगता है।
